A production-first location agency for photo and fashion shoots, brand experiences, campaigns and private events across Mallorca — scouting, negotiation, permits, production-day management, and one dedicated contact from brief to wrap.
Lovely Locations is a production-first location agency in Mallorca, working across photo and fashion shoots, brand experiences and events. We represent a curated roster of fincas, villas, design hotels, beach clubs and architect-led estates, and when a booking needs more than a venue, we can run the production-day operation around it.
Our clients are producers, creative directors, event planners and agencies who need Mallorca handled. We take a brief, return a curated shortlist, negotiate terms with the owner, confirm permits with the relevant ayuntamiento, manage the day with a local representative on-site, and settle the paperwork after wrap. One contact from brief to wrap.

You brief, we shortlist. Three to five Mallorca locations — availability-checked, with real photos, floor plans, capacity notes and honest pros and cons. You book direct or through us.
Scouting scope →A Mallorca-based representative on-site for the full shoot day. Owner liaison, access, parking, neighbour diplomacy, noise and curfew windows, damage walkthrough before and after. You focus on the shoot; we keep the location happy.
On-day scope →
End-to-end: multi-location scouting, municipal film permits, AESA drone coordination, local crew, transport, accommodation, catering partners and on-set management. The service producers hire when they want Mallorca handed to them complete.
Full scope →We’re familiar with how productions and location rentals run across Mallorca — the kind of finca that has three-phase power, the driveways that won’t take a production truck, and the clastra that holds the afternoon sun. That familiarity is what shapes the shortlist.
Owners on our roster are chosen for shoot-readiness: sensible insurance posture, good neighbour relations, and a genuine openness to productions — tripods indoors, styling changes, an early start. We flag what each owner is and isn’t comfortable with up front, so the ground rules are clear before you book.
We handle the ayuntamiento filing — Palma, Calvià , Sóller, Pollença, Manacor — plus AESA drone applications when needed. Each municipality wants a different form, window and set of insurance proofs; we know which one.
A local rep in the owner’s language, familiar with the property’s quirks, removes the friction that kills shoot days. Neighbour calls get answered in MallorquÃn; catering truck access is solved with the caretaker, not the shoot schedule.
Two or three Mallorca locations in a single shoot week means coordinated call times, staggered setups and route planning between the Tramuntana, Palma and the east coast. We sequence the logistics so crew and kit arrive in the right order.
Contracts, damage deposits, public-liability insurance requirements and post-shoot walkthroughs are our job — not a producer’s end-of-day scramble. Owners sign our paperwork; you sign one agreement for the whole scope.

Our core service is location representation: we represent a roster of shoot-ready Mallorca properties — countryside fincas in Porreres and SantanyÃ, cliff villas around Port d’Andratx, design hotels across Palma, 16th-century farmhouses in the north, and contemporary estates in the Tramuntana. Inside that, we do three things: scouting against a written brief, owner negotiation on rates and terms, and on-the-day site management. A producer can engage any single service or the full stack. Most campaign clients choose the full service; editorial and smaller photo shoots often engage scouting only and handle the day themselves.
Pricing is on request and varies by project and by each location, because every brief sets its own scope. Rather than quote a headline number, we scope and cost each job individually — the locations involved, the number of shoot days, and whether you need scouting only or full production-day management. Invoicing is in EUR with Spanish IVA applied under the prevailing rules, including reverse-charge for EU business clients with a valid VIES number.
Mallorca’s 53 municipalities each run their own film-permit process, and Palma is materially different from Calvià , Sóller or Manacor. We file for still photography, film and commercial permits with the relevant ayuntamiento, coordinate with the Mallorca Film Commission where applicable, and handle AESA drone authorisations including the 8 km exclusion zone around Palma-Son Sant Joan. For privately-owned fincas, permit needs are usually limited to road-use or public-space elements; we scope this at brief stage so it’s clear well before day one.
Online platforms are fast at producing a long list but slow at producing a confirmed shoot. An agency does what a search box cannot: cross-check real availability against shoot dates, apply taste to the shortlist, negotiate a non-standard request like an early call time or a helicopter landing, and arrive on the day in person if something goes sideways. We also take liability off your risk ledger — contracts are ours, damage deposits run through us, and post-shoot disputes get resolved before they become invoices. That’s the difference between a listings site and a location service.
Tell us the brief — shoot type, dates, mood, approximate crew size and whether you want scouting only or a full production wrap — and we’ll come back with a Mallorca shortlist of three to five locations that fit. Pricing is on request and varies by project and by each location.

We move quickly. Send the brief — date window, crew size and the look you’re after — and we come back with a shortlist of three to five Mallorca locations that fit. Availability is confirmed with owners in real time, so we don’t send options we can’t actually deliver on the dates you need.
A local producer on-site from load-in to wrap: owner liaison, access coordination, parking, neighbour diplomacy, supervising moves of furniture and styling, enforcing the pre-agreed curfew and noise windows, and walking the property with the owner before and after the shoot. The rep is the single point of accountability for the location so your 1st AD and production coordinator can stay on schedule.
Holds and deposits are set by each owner and confirmed in writing before you commit — we don’t bury the terms in footnotes. Cancellation terms vary by owner and are disclosed up front, and force-majeure clauses are standard and reviewed jointly with your production insurer where relevant.
The production does. Most Mallorca locations require the production to carry public-liability cover, and we confirm the exact threshold an owner needs during scoping. Where a production doesn’t travel with its own cover, we can connect you to a Spanish broker who insures short-run shoots.
Yes. We can support crews splitting a schedule between the Balearics and mainland Spain, and coordinate with sister agencies for Ibiza- and Menorca-side locations. That means one brief, one coordinator and consistent paperwork across islands — the same applies for producers pairing a Mallorca shoot week with an Ibiza overflow day.
Yes — municipal film permits (Palma, Calvià , Sóller, Pollença, Manacor, Santanyà and the smaller ayuntamientos), coordination with the Mallorca Film Commission, and AESA drone authorisations including the Palma-Son Sant Joan 8 km exclusion zone. Lead times vary by municipality — some issue inside a week, others want 15 working days — so we scope permits at brief stage rather than at shoot-week.
