This residential project is carefully integrated into a gently sloping site, with the building positioned at the highest point and extending along the terrain to minimize earth movement. The main façade faces south to maximize natural light and take advantage of the Mediterranean climate. A large single-pitch roof unifies the different volumes, giving the house a clear and calm architectural identity. Porches and pergolas at the base of the structure create a human scale and strengthen the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. The use of local and natural materials plays a key role in the design, including wood for openings, handmade ceramic latticework, lime mortar in earth tones, exposed concrete, crushed tile roofing, natural cane ceilings, polished concrete floors, and roof insulation made from locally collected marine plant fibers. Overall, the house reflects a strong connection to its landscape, climate, and traditional construction methods while maintaining a contemporary architectural expression.
